Gary Solomon is a veteran of the local music scene and beyond.  For over 30 years, he has played with local icons and national acts.  Playing bass, he toured with folk-rocker Steve Forbert throughout the U.S. and the U.K.  He also played with guitarist John Hall (of “Orleans”) throughout the Northeast, including a gig with guest artist Rick Danko.  He recently had the pleasure of sitting in with Levon Helm at the Midnight Ramble.  A devotee of The Band since he was 13, Gary was in the right place at the right time on Thanksgiving Day in 1976, when he arrived at The Winterland Arena in San Francisco to witness The Last Waltz.  Other than playing with The Band itself, nothing could be more fun and exciting than honoring and celebrating their music with The “THE BAND” Band!
